OH&S Training

Have you done your OH&S training?

Recent training figures show that some OH&S Reps and Deputy OH&S Reps have not attended a training course, particularly refresher training.

If there are problems with training course content, getting booked off the job, roster clashes or anything else that prevents you from attending the TWU training – please let us know!!!

If there are NO problems with training, please download and conplete the flyer available (below) and hand it to your employer.

Don't forget that Eugene Richards is your Health and Safety Representative Support Officer (HSRSO).

The TWU offers a Worksafe approved Occupational Health and Safety course.

Occupational Health and Safety courses are designed to develop the knowledge and practical skills of health and safety representatives, managers and supervisors to deal with Occupational Health and Safety issues in the workplace.

Participants will gain a basic knowledge of the relevant legal responsibilities of the key workplace parties. Participants should also develop skills that will enable them to confidently carry out their representative role in the workplace.
