Heavy Vehicle Speeding Reform Information Sessions
Friday 25 September 2009

The Victorian Government will be introducing new laws to address heavy vehicle (trucks and buses) speed compliance.  The Government's objective is to reduce fatalities and injuries involving speeding heavy vehicles .  These laws will also affect all off-road parties who can influence speeding, such as employers, contractors, operators, schedulers, consignors, receivers and loading managers.

Union members are encouraged to attend one of the FREE information sessions being run by VicRoads.  These sessions will  help you understand your responsibilities and how to meet your obligations under the new laws.
