Trauma and Stress Counselling

 

Trauma and stress counselling can be provided through agencies such as Lifeline (11 11 44) and Mensline (1300 78 99 78). 

 

The TWU has also developed a Healthbreak Crisis Card for members in need of assistance on issues such as drug use, gambling, stress and fatigue.

 

 

Safety Advice and Risk Assessments

 

Members with issues regarding safety in their workplace can contact the TWU and request a safety risk assessment by one of our qualified OH&S Officers - 1300 727 614.


Taxation Advice

 

The TWU can refer you to tax agents with transport industry experience - call the TWU office on 1300 727 614 for more information.
 

Legal Advice and Assistance

 

Legal Assistance is provided through Maurice Blackburn in Victoria and Ogilvie Jennings in Tasmania.  The first consultation is Free for Union members - (03) 9605 2700.
