The operative date for these rates is the first pay period on or after 1 December 2008. These rates include the 2008 $21.70 increase. (This Award applies for journeys of 500km or more).



Grade 3 - $600.60

(Range of capacity up to 8 tonnes) Driver of two axle rigid vehicle of 13.9 tonnes GVM.



Grade 4 - $612.10

(Range of capacity over 8 and up to 12 tonnes) Driver of 3 axle rigid vehicle exceeding 13.9 tonnes GVM.



Grade 5 - $619.70

(Range of capacity over 12 tonnes and up to 22.4 tonnes) Driver of four axle rigid vehicle exceeding 13.9 tonnes. Driver of rigid vehicle and heavy trailer combinations with a GCM of 22.4 tonnes or less. Driver of articulated vehicle with a GCM of 22.4 tonnes or less.



Grade 6 - $627.40

Driver of rigid vehicle and heavy trailer combination with a GCM greater than 22.4 tonnes but not exceeding 42.5 tonnes. Driver of articulated vehicle with a GCM greater than 22.4 tonnes. Driver of low loader (as defined) with a GCM up to and including 43 tonnes.



Grade 7 - $637.10

Driver of double articulated vehicle up to and including 53.4 tonnes GCM (includes B-Doubles). Driver of low loader (as defined) with GCM exceeding 43 tonnes.



Grade 8 - $656.10

Driver of rigid vehicle and trailer(s) or double articulated vehicle exceeding 53.4 tonnes GCM (includes B-doubles.) Multi-axle trailing equipment up to 70 tonnes capacity.



Grade 9 - $667.60

Driver of road train or triple articulated vehicle exceeding 94 tonnes GCM.



Grade 10 - $684.70

Multi-axle trailing equipment.



Clause 19. Rates of Pay

C. The wage rate per km as from the first full pay period to commence on or after 01.12.2006 shall be:
