The operative date for these rates is the first pay period on or after 1 October 2008 (this includes the the 2007 $21.70 increase).



Clause 16 - Rates of Pay

Grade 1 - $577.20

Collector, loader, greaser/cleaner, motor driver assistant, washer.



Grade 2 - $592.90


Motor cycle, driving a vehicle not exceeding 4.5 tonnes gross vehicle mass (GVM), driver in depot.



Grade 3 - $600.30

Driver of a two axle rigid vehicle exceeding 4.5 tonnes but not exceeding 13.9 tonnes GVM.



Grade 4 - $611.90

Driving a three axle rigid vehicle exceeding 13.9 tonnes GVM up to 8 tonnes capacity.



Grade 5 - $619.50


Driving a rigid vehicle with four or more axles and a GVM exceeding 13.9 tonnes - capacity over 10 tonnes up to 15 tonnes.



Grade 6 - $626.90

Driving a rigid vehicle and heavy trailer combination with more than three axles and a Gross combined mass (GCM) greater than 22.4 tonnes - over 22 tonnes capacity.
