The Tasmanian Minister for Infrastructure, Graeme Sturges MP, has pledged to create an integrated, efficient and safe transport system delivering sustainable economic growth and resilient regional communities. The transport system will need to cater for more freight and passenger movements into the future. This will require the Tasmanian Government to make strategic decisions about investments in road, rail, and port infrastructure.
